In recognition of Gene Roddenberry's contribution to developing America's crucial role in Space exploration through his creation of Star Trek just prior to the start of the Apollo program, we the undersigned, ask that the newly forming United States Space Force (USSF) be directed by the White House to adopt (as possible) those icons of Star Trek, such as the colors, naval rank structure, uniform pieces and/or uniform devices seen in the various Star Trek series but especially those of The Original Series (TOS), as part of the USSF's future uniform assortment.
