In recognition of Gene Roddenberry's contribution to developing America's crucial role in Space exploration through his creation of Star Trek just prior to the start of the Apollo program, we the undersigned, ask that the newly forming United States Space Force (USSF) be directed by the White House to adopt (as possible) those icons of Star Trek, such as the colors, naval rank structure, uniform pieces and/or uniform devices seen in the various Star Trek series but especially those of The Original Series (TOS), as part of the USSF's future uniform assortment. Star Trek has been an icon of Space flight. Almost from the moment men went into space there has been Star Trek. The symbols and props of Star Trek are seen all over the world. Space /Star Trek are interchangeable.
