Agree with previous comments, someone should loose their job or position over this - you have to act now, the situation is not going to go away. Well done SOW, however you are.

Well done for highlighting what the council should have done years ago, it is clear a school is needed in this area as soon as it is possible.

Totally unacceptable, agree that someone should now be held accountable for allowing this to happen, we live in one of the most affluent areas in the UK and children are going to be shipped out to this 'not particularly' good school, They will be disadvantaged from the start of their education.

Truly appalling that WBC have not had the sence to resolve this critical issue sooner... priorities need to be sorted -this undoubtedly takes precedence over wasting time and money on ineffective plans to build more houses. . Can somebody please remind me what our community tax is for if we cant even obtain the basic right of educating our children (without the need for them to travel 100 miles a week to go to a less than desirable one!) Heads should roll on this one, disgusted - I would be very interested to find out who is accountable... Get your heads out the sand WBC!

I need this school for my two boys - not prepared to be offered my third choice of school, which is the one I probably least want them to go to - but it makes the Council seem they are doing their job in giving parents a choice - they're not really.

It is a disgusting situation the Council has put parents in - someone should be held responsible for this. Go SOW and get this school.

This is urgently needed now. The situation is currently bad and will hit crisis point in the next few years. We can't wait for WBC to address the problem once it hits crisis point.

I am a resident of Farley Hill. I have two children already at secondary school. They both travel 5 to 6 miles each day, in different directions, to go to school. This is time consuming, costly and environmentally unfriendly. I have a third child currently aged 7. It would be massively beneficial to her and us as a family, if she could attend a local secondary school. There is clearly a need for a secondary school over this side of the borough.
