"We, the citizens of the town of South Orangetown, petition the South Orangetown School District to reinstate the Freshmen Basketball Team beginning the 2012-2013 school year. The Freshmen Team not only builds on the success of the overall program, but affords more students an opportunity to play, using their time constructively, and be part of their school community. The teams past records this year and over the past few years prove the success of having a Freshmen Program.”
