The Air Show brings in a lot of revenue for Southend, we have nothing else show wise anymore, so need this to draw in the crowds, it was always well attended and enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.

So much interest, it surely would bring in people, increase tourism and ultimately bring in much needed money into this city!

I would absolutely love to see the air show again, especially now that I have my own children it would be a really lovely day out we've really enjoyed seeing them fly over the last couple of days , our community needs to be brought back together and events like this are exactly what we need!

The southend shakedown was brought back this year and proved to be a huge success so bring back the airshow. After getting City status it makes sense to bring something else back that ultimately results in more revenue for businesses and the council.

It’s wanted by the majority of residents and visitors. A huge attraction especially now we are a City!!
If Clacton and Eastbourne can afford it, why can’t we ???
Bring it back - surely it generates considerable income and kudos to the CITY !!!

Southend needs this, with Covid and David Amess causing low morale. Should be called the David Amess Southend City Airshow. Let's get it done!

The Airshow was something very important for our town. It bought in visitors from far and wide, also residents who loved the Airshow. It was good for traders along the seafront, and it made the Bank Holiday it happened on, something very special and something to look forward to. I can remember the first airshow with the Concord flying over, the cliff tops all along packed with excited families waiting to see the planes, plus on the ground lots going on too.. Please please consider this even if you started charging people which I'm sure most would be happy to do..
