I used to attend southend airshow as a child ever year it used to be such a wonderful day out with lots to see and do. Would love to be able to take both my children one day as I've always told them about it and they both said they'd love to see all the planes

Each year the airshow took place, my family and I loved to watch as many aircraft as we could from the best seat we could find. And if we couldn't be there with the crowds, we still heard the vintage planes roar and could see the Red Arrows soar. It was something to feel proud of, excited that the legendary, world-famous Red Arrows were coming to our humble Southend!
And then it stopped. Please, bring it back to us to enjoy, again?
