Southeast Park Renovation

I agree that this park needs an upgrade. It has been the same since i played on it as a little girl.

My kids grew up at that park .I lived across the street for 12 yrs ,,that park was their home away from home ! They were there almost everyday playing basketball ,baseball or just hanging out with their friends ,so maby great memories .Its sad to see it the way it is now . I strongly agree that it should be renovated ASAP so that other children will experience the same great memories mine have today .

This park was always a big part of my childhood and it is sad that we can not take our two year old to the same park and that we'd rather take him to the city park that is further away from our home. The park just looks bad and has been in need of repairs for a long time.

This park has been around since 1991! 27yrs and no renovations. It's ridiculous and needs to be fixed.

I live across the street and have to drive my kids across town to play at the park. This park is very dangerous and not well maintained.

This whole town needs a makeover, might as well start at the park.

Better late than never. This really needs to happen. My husband and I have talked about it for a while now and would gladly do whatever to help out!

Where is this park located? If it is the one on SE 4th ave and about 16 street the minute it opened the the vandels started and they were never punished. For some reason this town refuses tomake parents pay for their kids crimes

I live near the plastic park & I have a 17 month old son & would love to have it fixed so I won't have to take him to the city park.

I use to live 1 block from this park. At that time it was neglected and was not a place where one would feel letting a child go without adult supervision. I have heard that it is worse now. Please do something.

I agree!! I remember as I was a teen, there was so much wrong with this park and now that I have kids, I will not let my kids go to this park because of the way it is!!

I remember playing at this park as a child and it is disheartening that I can't bring my own children to play there due to the poor state of the whole thing!

I think something needs to be done not many people would want to take their children to a place like this but it's kinda hard when it's the closest place an don't have transportation.. To many get hurt on the equipment.

I believe that we can educate and raise children to be prosperous adults for the good of this world. Even though I am no longer a citizen of the MW area, I would love nothing more than to see my hometown flourish.

This is a park I've literally watched be built and destroyed before my eyes. A lot of nostalgia and great memories at this park and was deeply saddened when I took my niece there to play Pokemon Go, the state it was in. With a few updates and upgrades this park can serve the community like it once has And bring enjoyment to an area that could use it.
