The Southeast Park, also known as the Plastic Park, has been neglected for far too long now. It has been vandalized and a known spot for mischief among the community.
The town of Mineral Wells, Texas needs to shift it's focus on childhood and family recreational development. Children need a creative and SAFE place to play and the South East part of town doesn't have any of that.
It only makes sense that we tend to a park that is located closely to 3 of the main schools in town in a neighborhood that needs a make over.
By renovating the park, we can give Mineral Wells a greater sense of pride that has been tarnished by others.
