The petition is a request to ADOT and the governor to build a Southbound Highway ramp on dixileta and I-17 for the communities West and adjacent to I-17. As of now Residents has to drive south passing dixileta to jomax then turn around going on about 3 miles to dixileta turning around from the East Frontage Road to the West Frontage Road to access their community. With a new ramp it will provide direct access to the community instead of driving extra 4- 5 miles!

Not only is it adding an extra 5 miles to get to my home, the surrounding areas are developing at a fast rate. There is also a big increase in community development in the area that will be impacted by not having access to Dixileta. Opening this road will allow the area to keep up with the increased growth and traffic.
I often take care of my granddaughter and always have to do that loop to Jomax.. we come from 7th Ave and carefree Hwy ... this is needed , please build this , please
We need both useable on and off ramps at Dixileta. We live nearby and currently have to go down to Jomax or up to Dove Valley. It also created a lot of extra traffic around our neighborhood because everybody south of Dove Valley has to go down to Jomax to enter I-17. There are also a lot of illegal turns down Dixileta currently because it's closed to anybody except trucks.
I live in Norterra Pointe, and have to make this complete circle to get home every day... VERY time consuming, extra gas and annoying! And describing how to get to my house is confusing to my friends and my parents' caregivers. PLEASE put in a ramp!
I have lived up here for 13 years and watch this part of freeway being built. ADOT only accommodated for USAA building on the East side of feeeway and those on West side was left driving additional miles to Happy Valley Road. Now is the time to correct your mistake as traffic is increasing on Happy Valley Road

Please, please, please. Jomax goes to no where, and the loop to happy valley, 35th, and back north can take 15 extra minutes. Plus, with 900 new houses planned at usaa land there will be more traffic on jomax.
