We have been very happy with our sons education and feel South View is a great school.

South View leadership and teaching staff are providing a solid education for our two children. While we should strive to keep improving, and there are absolutely things that need to improve, please don't be mesmerized by the angry, loud, and sometimes persuasive words of some parents who are dissatisfied with one thing or another. I am signing this and commenting on behalf of myself and scores of parents who are too shy, busy, or distracted to tell you themselves that they and their kids love South View.

Daily flex teaches my kids how to plan and be accountable for their work. Thank you to the teachers who work so hard every day to improve our children's lives.

I think that all teachers at SVMS are fantastic and highly dedicated, but I want to give a special shout out to the AVID program that Mr. Banko leads. It has been a huge motivation for my son this year as they start to explore the possibilities for college and work on organizational and other skills.

Daily Flex, Advisory, Stream, pacing options, learning options, spaces, teachers, support staff, ect.. These are just a few of the reasons our son has been so successful at South View. We could not be any happier or more satisfied with the skills and education he is receiving there. We are so lucky to be a part of the SVMS and whole Edina family.

We are so lucky that our kids have been South View students. Daily Flex has become a very important strategic choice in our son's day. From activities like participating in Newsies and Jazz Band to core classes our kids have experienced a stellar education. Our teachers are outstanding and our staff is responsive and supportive. Dr. Anderson is an innovative leader. Our kids will be prepared for their next steps.

My child loves South View, as do I! We could not be more thrilled to have had a great middle school experience for the past 2 years. Thank you to all who work there to make it excellent!

My son is in the Advanced Academics/Gifted and Talented programming and is achieving top test scores in his classes, standardized tests, and recently took the ACT (early) and scored better than 70 percent of all students taking the test. South View provides an academically rigorous experience that challenges all learners!
