I work 9-5 Monday through Friday and when I get home, I enjoy taking my dinner to the beach to swim, surf, and watch the sunset after a long day. Now, the beach is closes at 6PM, which is about the time I get home from work.
Putting a gate that blocks access at any point turns the public beach to a private beach ..also if your handicapped how do you get access ..zone more thing people that live along south shore beach road aren’t going to be happy with people parking out in front of there houses
I support social distancing and face masks, as Rhode Island moves forward little Compton must follow, take the gate down and let LC Police provide assistance as needed. Citizens will also call for assistance If guidelines aren’t followed
Please let my children have sandy toes and salty hair from special evenings at the beach. This is the good stuff, the lifelong memory stuff, the being with people who matter most in the town we love stuff.
I am a Massachusetts resident and have been going to South shore my entire life. It is the only beach my family goes to. Please dont restrict access for non RI residents. This would break my family's heart
absolutely shameful
ridiculous. Using a pandemic to cover up a money grab.

Don't take my beach away from me! It's where I go to watch the sunrise and meditate. It's been part of my life for over 60 years...... PLEASE reconsider the gate and the hours.. We never needed these rules before, and we don't need them now.
