I have played in this league for many years under 4 league operators and been division rep for several years. I have found Kim and Sheila to be dedicated to the league and promoting the sport in general. As division rep I find they are always ready to address concerns of players and to help the reps deal with the day to day issues. Estevan division has lost some teams for a couple of reasons, number one being the turndown in the economy due to low oil prices. Many people are not working and moving away to find jobs. This is certainly beyond the control of the CPA league operator. There has been another league start in Estevan using BCA rules and that has put a drain on the pool of players as many players don't want to play 2 nights a week. Please reconsider the ending of Kim's term as league operator

Instead of revoking a franchice, ehy dosnt the apa/cpa try to get another franchice in the province. Like i dont know in saskatoon.

I've been a member of the CPA in Regina since the Fall of 2002. There have been 4 different owners in that time (Dennis, Steve, Allen and Kim). Kim and Sheila have put significantly more effort into growing the league than the other owners despite having much less of an opportunity or options. Team 8 ball has grown to 19 teams in Regina, 11 in Estevan unfortunately Moose Jaw has declined. He's also developed a Master's division with 6 teams and a Scotch Doubles division with 12 teams that has never been attempted before never mind been successful. Pool landscape has changed in Regina from 7 pool halls to 1 pool hall. It is quite impressive to have the volume of teams playing out of bars instead of actual pool halls. Kim also had at least 8 teams out of Saskatoon ready to play which is out of his region which could be utilized for growth of the league in Saskatchewan. I look forward to continuing to play in the league and having an opportunity again to complete in the National event in Vegas in August.

Just started CPA this year. Seems like an ok league. Why shut it down if it's supporting itself?

This is our first session with CPA and are very impressed with the way it is managed and the support provided, largely due to Kim's efforts. We'd hate to have to quit after only a few months!

I'm a manager at one of the coin operated bars in regina. We much rather have cpa than the other league but he owns the tables and refuses to let them use the tables. His own pool hall was shut down beause he can't pay the bills. Cpa were the best to deal with and I wish we could have them back in our establishment

As I'm ready that, I just don't understand what's going on ... Kim and Sheila are doing a great job in SK with the CPA league. I would be disappointed not playing this league anymore...

Nothing but respect for the job Kim and jen have done for pool in the city of Regina. It would be a shame for the cpa to disappear in an already hurting pool community.
