needs to happen to ensure the safety of people, it is a route I use at night, always on the bike, but I know people walk through the cut through at night, and safety which lights can encourage is key to ensure that crime is deterred and prevented.

As a father of a student living in Oxford, this matter is close to my heart - safety is paramount and should be the number one concern of all councils.

Please do the right thing now and install the necessary lighting rather than putting it off until, to your shame, there are more avoidable sexual attacks on innocent young people!!

Please install lighting as a matter of urgency! We ask that you be proactive and not reactive. Let's do all to prevent an incident rather than react to one and then put measures in place which could have prevented this.
Thank you!

I have avoided this path at night even though it would be quicker for my journey to use it!

I wouldn't fancy walking back along this path late at night and I'm 59! Please help students to be safer by making sure the route is well lit.

In a community full of young, vulnerable people, it is absolutely shameful that lights haven't been put in this spot before!!!!!!!

When I attended Brookes last year, I noticed that this park definitely could use some lights!
