That corner is already littered with trash every morning already, if you allow a McDonald’s it will just continue to get worse. Plus, we already have an issue with crime at the trains. Keep 11city, and bring more sit down restaurants not McDonald’s!!!

Eleven City Diner has been one of the best perks of this neighborhood. They came back after the horrific looting, and have continued to be a wonderful asset to the area. McDonalds is the LAST thing we need on the block. This is the worst news in a very long time.

Fast food is typically not healthy food. Moreover, late night hours will be a disruption to residents on the block who need to sleep through the night and get up early in the morning for work. This will change the character of the block in the South Loop and not for the better.

I highly dislike 11 City Diner and refuse to go there but would still rather them than a McDonalds with the resulting crime, littering and loitering

Please do not close this restaurant. It is a beautiful, old school diner, WITH HEALTHY food and a great bloody mary. Putting a McDonald's in the place of a one of a kind diner will be a disservice to the area. Chicago is known for good food and unique restaurants. A common fast food change will continue the city of Chicago to be obese.
