As a local youth coach, I can give first hand experience that with the mass hockey covid restrictions and how well the rinks are handling and enforcing the new rules. I understand being safe, but the mental harm of taking so much away from these kids is far worse than the covid risk.

Let the kids play. This makes no sense whatsoever if other team sports are allowed. Private schools have allowed their students to play right along giving their students an advantage over public school students when looking and competing for. College scholarships.
