Please help us the way you promised. Nobody gets back to us over the phone or email. It’s very disheartening and just wrong in many ways!

Shortly, will be the one year anniversary of this disaster. Mayor Bill DeBlasio has failed miserably in the eyes of those impacted by the municipal infrastructure collapse. From his visit to our community, we realize it was more of a photo op for him and his insincere verbal promises to us and I taped his words. Maybe he needs to listen to what he said. Why he would rather pay four hotels some 3/4 of a year rather than the damaged homeowners who wished to promptly repair/replace their losses is beyond comprehension, unacceptable, and unforgiving. His visit "to make us whole again" was unwritten and a washout down the drain. The range of reinbursements for property damage to physical illness from toxic inhalation of airborne mold spores cannot build people's lives again. The damage is irreversible. Remuneration is past due and the insult to our impacted community is penetrating. Oversight is the power or recourse and this petition a Demand for respect. We pay our property taxes and have not gotten the expected services we are entitled to. We pay the mayor's salary and his Comptroller only to get no productive feedback when we are in need for rebuilding our lives. Hopefully this Petition will garner the support needed

I can't imagine residents in Manhattan having to deal with this level of neglect and unresponsive bureaucracy. SE Queens deserves better than this.

Are we really getting ready to allow our neighbors in SOP to have yet another miserable Thanksgiving and holiday season, through no fault of their own? At what point does the city simply admit that mistakes were made and right these wrongs? Were it your neighborhood, would you not want to be given the dignity and respect you deserve? Let's fix this situation now!

Make this matter right for all that has been effected.... Right is right and wrong is wrong. Don’t treat these people like that.

The City of New York, thru the Comptrollers Office, have shown complete disdain for the ravaged minority citizens of South Ozone Park in southeast Queens, whose properties, homes, and residences were severely damaged by N.Y.City-owned sewage sysyem. The City has refused to properly pay for damages to their properties....James Ryans.

Still awaiting settlement, it's absurd that we have to suffer through no fault of ours.
