I graduated in '99 and things are radically different for Out GBLTQ students, but apparently we can be gay just don't do it at their strips prom...... I mean C'mon that event is for the jocks to sneak off and sknock up the cheerleaders cause they cut the tips off their condoms before prom

Someone should contact the aclu if this school is discriminating against children because of their sexual preference. This is illegal. Also, parents should contact WATE to get this story more recognition and so they can express their anger. If it were my child, I would contact Jim McIntyre myself. And that whole " Diversity Prom" is stupid. They are segregating all of you because of your sexual orientation. And as we all know, segregation was outlawed years ago.

I'm so happy someone made this. This school is so anti-gay and it bothers me so much. There is always gay-straight alliance posters being ripped off of the walls and people being bullied because of their sexuality. Its one of the many reasons i hate going to this school. Once i can go to school and not have to worry about hearing hurtful side comments about me is when Ill feel safe there. As of now, I dont.

I want to be able to go to prom with the person I chose to go with. Even if we only go as friends, it shouldn't matter. If we are supposed to leave religion out of school, they need to leave sexuality out of it too. Teachers and staff always want us to be ourselves, but we can't if we are forced to hide who we are and we can't express who we really are. I don't like the school I am in and it's because of things like this. Thank you to the people who decided to ban same sex couples at prom.
