Increasing the spacing between the courts would also make them more suitable for tournaments. I would suggest putting bleacher seating on the outside to accommodate spectators.

Please support the growth of pickleball which is actually becoming a national pastime of participation for most of the country!

Great Opportunity to Upgrade County Recreational Facilities Used by Many

So many communities are embracing and profiting from the fastest growing sport in America. Oconee County has made a great start, and Phil Shirley has been a strong advocate working with us through the past 7 years. Thanks to you all for for helping the pickleball community as well as the local business community.

Pickleball is not going away. Research old malls are turning into indoor courts. Younger and younger people are playing. It’s not just a senior game.

Pickleball has exploded in our area-we need more courts! :-)

Please please grant the community the opportunity to enhance the amenities at South Cove park and expand the Pickleball courts to meet the demand.

Definitely need more courts at South Cove.

More and more people are playing. Many days we have 8-12 people waiting for a court.

Please support additional pickleball courts! It is a great investment for the community & will help promote exercise for all age groups!

I have been playing here for two years and have seen how much this sport has grown. It is time to expand and improve this area for the good of the sport and community.
