As a proud Native American of the Yurok tribe and south city alumni, I don't find the representation of a warrior as a Native American offensive. I am a blanket award winner and am proud our symbol of our school is the Native American head.

Warrior is one of the best mascots in history. A Warrior is a Fighter, a Soldier, a Combatant. Warriors are Brave and Proud. Why would anyone want to change such a worthy Mascot Name?

I have Native American in me and I'm not offended by this at all, it's a school mascot! People are way over sensitive theses days.
