The Warner Music Group - A.K.A WMG, have been making several copyright claims on the popular socialising website, YouTube. Many videos have been taken off or had the audio removed. Many people on YouTube use music for a background when making a video. Without the music the innocent fun is destoryed. None of the people on YouTube who use music claim that they own it. If anything, they are promoting the music and are not making money from it, unlike some. In 2007, WMG made approximatley $3.385 billion dollars. Millions of users create videos for other peoples entertainment, not to make money in any way. Even videos of people making a cover of a song are being taken off. These people take the time to learn the song and then put it on YouTube to get comments from other people of how to improve in their work. We are here to fight for the users. We want to make a difference and stop this nonsense. We will not stop until we have sorted this mess out. We shall not swear, we shall not rant, sit back and let this happen. Instead we will be mature and use the power of the people that are sick of this.
