IT IS ALREADY HARD ENOUGH TO BOOK A GP APPOINTEMENT IN THE AREA, LET ALONE SHUT A SURGERY WHICH WILL MAKE THINGS MORE DIFFICULT THAN WHAT ALREADY IS.

As a local Labour councillor in Gipsy Hill I am very concerned about the potential closure of the surgery.
It so important to have a surgery in the local area that is accessible and its closure will only put pressure on services elsewhere.

The surgery supports a number of people referred to foodbank who due to health issues would struggle to get to an alternative location of even struggle to find a new surgery. These sort people need stability and constants in their life.

The Norwood Surgery is an important part of the health of the local community, and it is essential that a surgery remains in this street where patients of all abilities can access it easily because it is on flat ground and also has a bus-stop just outside. Patients who have mobility problems or difficulty travelling cannot access the only other one in the area, at the top of Knights' Hill. It would be dreadful if this surgery was allowed to close.
