As a coach, I have watched these restrictions negatively impact my team as a whole as well as individually for my team members. While I understand the desire to “keep people safe”, I whole heartedly believe that the restrictions that have been placed over the past 9 months have actually had more negative impact than “keeping us safe”.

Please please please let us support our children. I won’t get into all my opinions about all this mess, but the state trying to take away our option to support or children is not ok. I don’t believe in masks, but I will wear one to watch my children!

I am a basketball coach in our district. It’s really sad when kids want to play and have their parents watch them, but they are unable to be there. Hopefully we can get this changed so that families can support each other.

As the parent of a daughter who NEEDS a lot of emotional support, the fact that I’m not able to watch her play sports in person has been really hard for not just me, as a mother, but for her. She gets much more anxious before games, and it effects her so much, and not just during the game. Please change this policy and allow us to watch about kids. Even if we have to limit the numbers.

I agree with everything in this petition!. It is ridiculous and unconscionable what has been done to our state and our communities. Enough is enough. Start reporting the truth and talking about the survival rate instead of the LOW death rate. Especially as it pertains to children and this virus.

We want to see our grandkids play! Walmart and many other places are full of people without masks...at least give us the ability to support our kids even if we need a mask! Kids walk the halls all day with other kids but then those same kids aren’t allowed in the ballgame....we are willing to take our own responsibility to be smart and distant as needed!

I watched my husband cry at the grocery store when his son won champion in his weight class for wresting. He wasn’t able to be there. He has coached wrestling for years and missed his youngest son winning. It’s heartbreaking. This is tearing away our opportunities as parents to be there and support our children in a time when they need it the most and it isn’t right.

My children attend Declo Junior High. I feel all parents should be able to attend children's games. We are willing to take the risk to support our children. They need us there.
