Please save the AB schools. We had such a wonderful experience at Anchor Academy and it's so close to the mayport base that the kids are totally safe going to and from school. The principal, staff, and teachers all care deeply about the kids and parents and hold so many events to bring the families together. My kids thrived while attending Anchor Academy and I just don't see clumping all kids K-8 together will be good for their mental health and academic growth. There's zero evidence to prove that it is better and could potentially make children "just a number" when clumped into one school. I know you hope that doesn't happen but please consider the affects it'll have on the children.

Please do not close down our Seabreeze Elementary! We are well above the necessary attendance rate. The DCPS survey we were given to complete is being distorted and used against us. Furthermore, we notice the special interest within the school board. It is blatantly apparent that someone within is pushing charter schools, and the fingers are pointing at certain members. When it comes to the beaches, LEAVE OUR SCHOOLS ALONE! The school board should be working in the best interests of the students and their families. This school board will be exploited for its misuse of power if this goes any further. Not to mention there is not a mayor in this county who supports the closing of our beaches schools. I cannot wait until the next election. This school
board is horrible and those of you who support this should be ashamed of yourselves. How can you sleep at night knowing the negative impact of
your actions? Get Right and Act Right!

We love Mayport ES! The student to teacher ratio, the smaller campus. This school allows the teachers to give each student the attention they deserve. This school provides a "family" away from home. Please reconsider.

This would be a horrible idea for so many reason. Separation of grade levels in the middle school range is super important for the safety/exposure to our elementary aged children. Do not move forward.

Seabreeze is located in the middle of South Jacksonville Beach keeping us all connected.
It is the type of neighborhood school that we don’t have much of anymore reminding us of what is really important in life and a true family.
We voted for the additional tax after being told it would better our schools. If Seabreeze is taken away, I believe it would change the morale of the area. Please keep our school!!

Seabreeze elementary is a staple in our community. Our teachers are amazing, by far the best community for our kids. Closing the school to make some extra cash for beach realestate is a short term solution. The local politicians need to get to work and find a solution on how we will save our schools. Just think about the future, what kid wants to be miss placed and have to start all over again because we have poor budgeting. Teachers are already underpaid having to dip into their own pockets to help our kids get a decent education. It’s time for the local tax payers to see why this is important. Mental health issues are at an all time high, it’s because we don’t have the resources to help our kids. Closing schools will only drive kids to have additional behavioral issues.

We must keep Seabreeze small and local. This school is one of the reasons we live in this area of South Jax Bch!!! Please consider and ask the parents in this area - the response is overwhelming to keep Seabreeze!

We love our small schools, please for multiple reasons it would be a disservice to kids stuck in the k-8 school with no transition or exposure to sports.
