I was at the city council meeting in Cape Coral where three people were arrested this evening for refusing to wear masks to the council meeting (where mandates had not been placed into effect). I also witnessed an officer purposely and forcefully shove a child to the ground during these arrests, as one if those individuals arrested was a relative of his. Is this the kind of government you want to run? One of tyranny and abuse of not only our rights, but of a child by an officer of the law? This is not right. And you know it isn't. I am requesting that you remove the power of these tyrants to obstruct our rights to breathe unobstructed.

These mask mandates, along with other draconian, unnecessary, and unlawful mandates/orders, have not only resulted in the invasion of privacy, the destruction of commerce, the inhibiting of learning and leisure, and contributed to the ill health and discrimination of Floridians -- but have also resulted in the arrests and false imprisonment of law abiding citizens.
Nothing mandatory from the government is good. I suffer from asthma and I can wear a mask. I won't vote for a government that obligate me to use something that hurt my health.
