Since its release in 2016 Pokemon Go has gone from strength to strength. Constantly innovating and evolving the game has ammassed a dedicated and loyal user base of millions of people all around the world. Pokemon Go is nothing short of a phenomenal success.
However, no matter how sussessful Pokemon Go is there is still room for improvement. One area that Niantic should address is the friends list that players can build up over time. Every player can have upto 200 friends and sorting that list is an extremely important and time saving function. Currently there are 4 ways to sort your friends list, name, nickname, friendship level and gift. A fifth sort function is needed that would allow you to sort your friends by players that do not have a present from you. This would mean that when you're sending presents out you know who has one already and who doesn't saving a lot of time. The current system of having to click on every friend to see if you can send them a present is laborious task and even stops some players from sending out presents.
So please sign this petition and hopefully Niantic will take onboard our collective voice and implement this much needed change.

The momentum behind this is undeniable and it proves Niantic can no longer ignore our frustration with their current interface. We are sick of wasting time scrolling through endless menus because they refuse to add a basic sorting feature.

Yes please! It takes such a long time going through the list. Being able to swipe left or right through the list would be a bonus.
Good idea - would be even better if they'd let you multi-select friends to send to!
This is definitely something that is needed to save a lot of time especially as the game is evolving and takes more and more time just to do the daily requirements
Agreed. Very frustrating and time consuming. Knowing if a friend has stopped playing would be useful as so many dont open gifts
Sounds like a good idea. Being able to see when friends last played would help to work out who is still active in the game. At present we can only see up to 2 days.
