In support of our claims, we point Sony San Diego to their own web site: www.theshownationcom, and its Facebook page: www.facebook.com/mlbtheshow - it is clear to see that this game is riddled with bugs and in need of attention. The gameplay is subpar at best, and our claim is simple: we purchased this game and major portions of it do not work as advertised. This isn't a hardware issue, it is a software issue.

We believe that Sony San Diego has effectively, and in bad faith, ignored customer complaints, and bug reports - and to date, has not made any attempt to rectify the majority of the severe bugs, including the fact that this game will not function in online mode.

We believe that what is most disheartening is that Sony San Diego has seemingly blacked out users from creating new bug reports on their web site, continues to ignore previous bug reports, and appears completely disinterested in customer feedback that appears on their Facebook page.

It's time for Sony San Diego to either put up or shut up. Fix your product, offer a patch, do the right thing! The baseball season is half over and most users are still unable to play this game as advertised.

You may not have competition among other gaming companies relative to the MLB license, however you do have a duty to make good on your claims of playing this game online. In addition, in good faith, you should at the minimum make an attempt to address the litany of bugs that have, in many instances, made this game title unplayable.

Demand is made to Sony San Diego to address this complaint officially, and further to open communication with their customers in the hopes that they will rectify the glaring issues that plague this game title: online mode does not function, and dozens of gameplay bugs that render this game unplayable as advertised.
