While we loved the original Ghostbusters movie in the 80s and will always appreciate it, this Ghostbusters reboot was a joyful, feelgood movie that broke down barriers, re-introduced it to brand new generations, and re-injected new life into the franchise. These super talented funny ladies did an incredible job of bringing the zaniness as well as heroicness of these characters to life, and sales of the blu-ray and DVDs are still going strong despite all the controversy with this movie’s release as a reboot. And I can tell you personally, that this movie has given me a lot of joy to see several times.

Furthermore, as evidenced by the many people dressed up this Halloween as the Ghostbusters from the new movie, you can clearly see that despite the naysayers, there is so much love for this movie out there and now girls can also feel a lot more included too with new generations of Ghostbusters now represented along with the originals.
