A new parking structure or allowing parking in restricted areas is drastically needed! The only reason I was able to even utilize my parking pass last year was because of the parking I found in housing. Disallowing this would change this drastically and would even make me consider not buying the parking pass anymore.

Why not use almost always empty lot I from of the student center as general parking? Oh, wait because that would make sense and be helpful to students and this is Sonoma State we are talking about. They are all about making a profit at the cost of their students.

Sonoma, PLEASE get it together. Many of us are often late trying to find parking or must spend an inordinate amount of time on campus as a means of maintaining our spot. To take away even more parking would be disastrous.

We need more parking, some days it will take me 30 minutes to find parking which then results in me being late to class. Not having enough parking is effecting my education.

I would not eliminate reserved parking spaces, but rather cut back on the amount that are reserved. You issue the parking permits every semester; you have the data to see how many spaces are or are not being used. There is also data to support how many students are on campus different days of the week/ hours of the day. I would suggest that the school review this data and determine how to proceed without raising the prices of parking permits (which are already a high price).

GIVE US PARKING SPACES FOR GODS SAKE. 100$ a semester is not cutting it if I can't find a parking spot in 30 minutes, and end up missing my class. I ended up not going to a class last semester, and doing the whole course individually, due to the parking epidemic..

I think this is a wonderful idea. I don't know how many times I was running late for class and have had to find a parking spot so far away and made me even more late than I already was. And the over capacity of students this year will be unreal. So better organization and a closer parking lot is very much needed
