The Hall's process has become a sham. It has caused a deep loss of credibility and is not responsive to the millions of fans who care. Gil Hodges' omission from the Hall is a graphic example.

As a frequent visitor to the HOF since the 1980's is has become clearly evident that the voting process needs to be examined and overhauled. Last winters travesty of not one elected and Dave Dombroskey's substitution ultimately cost the Veteran's committee of having an in inductee in 2015

The current system just doesn't work. This past year was not only shocking but a disgrace. Hodges, Minoso, Allen and Oliva seemed very obvious to me. The other candidates were worthy too. And now Minnie is dead. Something needs to change or these well deserving men will never get in.
