Dear Mr. President, I want you to solve Pakistan’s electricity problem. Frequent and long hours of power cuts are tarnishing Pakistan’s economy and social life. I don’t understand why the country should depend on hydel, thermal and coal based sources for electricity?


Let’s generate power through renewable energy sources like solar power and set an example for rest of the world. You can make this possible by implementing a policy that allows Pakistan to use renewable energy to its maximum potential.


As of now, Pakistan is worst performer when it comes to usage of Renewable Energies. The government has cancelled whatever little subsidies and proposals had been introduced for using renewable energy in the Country. It feels like we pay so much for electricity only to face longer hours of power-cuts every year, and situation is so worst that now even grids are collapsing due to excess load. I want all this to end.


As the President you can end this by asking government to implement a strong policy that encourages the use of renewable energy. I really hope you will listen to me and change Pakistan’s reputation of being the worst Renewable Energies user to a world-class renewable country.
