Space junk is now a major problem of humanity. We are literally surrounding the Earth with orbiting garbage. More than 500,000 pieces of debris are being tracked orbiting Earth. NASA is underfunded and cannot find a solution without proper funding. This petition will tell the US government to up NASA's funding and help them find a solution before it's too late. An increase NASA budget would also allow us to make even larger leaps in space. We could put humans on Mars by 2020, and go back to the moon. Don't let humanity kill it's chance to explore the universe, tell the US government to start helping the people and the rest of humanity by funding NASA!
