Aaron Nachlas here, aka, Nacheaux. I've been camping with SoloRoo for several years now, and I'm looking forward to again this year. If you're familiar, I am the guy who sets up Nacheauxland, tall flagpole with the Tibetan prayer flags (photo attached) who's always welcoming everyone in and cooking for whoever shows up. I was hoping that someone with Group Camping might be able to help me, as well as my fellow SoloRoovians.

Last year, SoloRoo was moved from our usual spot, just down the hill from The Grove, to further out, near Plaza 6. While on a map it may not seem far, it added a significant walk for us and seemed out of place for people who are paying an extra fee to camp above the standard GA price. While all of us who return to SoloRoo each year were thrilled to be back, most of us were disappointed with our placement. Additionally, the community tent that has been set up in years past was noticeably absent. It was always a great spot to chill, make new friends, meet up for activities, and pre-game before heading off on adventures. Many of us, myself included, opened our spaces to become that meeting spot, but we also lamented the absence of what was a central part of the SoloRoo community.

We love the comradirie that comes with camping with each other, but many of us debated if it was worth it if we lose out on the amenities and get pushed further away from both the entrance to CenterRoo and The Grove. As such, I would request that we be moved back to our 2022 placement and that the Community Tent be brought back. If this is getting to the wrong person, I would appreciate any help in ensuring it makes its way to the Placement team, as well as any information on how I might be able to reach them directly.
