We are petitioning to change next semester’s concert genre to Hip-Hop/Rap rather than the current rotation genre of Alternative. Alternative will be pushed back until Fall 2018 and not excluded from the rotation. We are petitioning because the Class of 2018 wants to “go out the way we came in” which means with a Hip-Hop/Rap concert. We believe this to be important to our Tennessee Tech experience, and we hope to bring students together through advocacy of the genre change. Possible artist could include Post Malone, T-Pain, Lil Yatchy, and Waka Flocka Flame.
