I do not want a police state for the people of Scotland. Why should I want or acquiesce to a police state for the people of Egypt? When a state imprisons a citizen it takes upon itself the responsibility to protect that citizen's health and welfare. We can never forget this; and we can never allow anyone else to forget it.
