my kids school should be setting a better example for the community. do the right thing.
The lack of solar energy on the rooftops or parking structures at the new school in one of the states with the most sunshine in the continental US is upsetting. We have sunshine, so let's use it! We can reduce our carbon footprint & support local economy by using local contractors & distributors to install & purchase these panels, so let's do this!
this is just common sense. other schools are doing it already so why are we waiting?
total no brainer. save money on bills and put it back into the classrooms.

reno gets sun all year long. why are we paying for grid power when we could just use the roof space?
