Today, we have a pollution overload issue contributing to global warming. As a result of this carelessness, many innocent species are going extinct. Everyday over 250 species die due to global warming. And some of us still choose to not change our ways. we believe that our schools in Harford County should have solar panels for their clean renewable energy. That won’t run out. Meanwhile, the fossil fuels that we use today will run out and produce pollution such as carbon dioxide. Also, solar panels cost less than fossil fuels do.The average price per watt for solar power ranges from $2.58 - $3.38 and the cost for an average-sized solar panel installation in the U.S. ranges from $10,836 to $14,196 after solar tax credits. In 2006, American consumers and businesses spent $921 billion or close to 7 percent of America’s gross domestic product on fossil fuels, more than the nation spent on education or the military. In 2008, national expenditures on fossil fuels most likely topped $1 trillion for the first time ever. Sign the petition to have Harford county schools convert to new reusable energy
