It's hard to believe our scriptures have once again been distorted from love to hate. Progressive Christian in support of SOGI 123!

There is no place for hate and this petition confirms that enlightened spiritual leaders know how to include everyone and that makes me happy.

For me, turning this into a "religious" debate is absurd. I am all for inclusion, acceptance and understanding. And I am MOST CERTAINLY in favor of the safety of all children and youth in their schools.

"When ignorance reigns, life is lost" - Rage Against the Machine. "We are made for goodness. We are made for love. We are made for friendliness. We are made for togetherness. We are made for all of the beautiful things that you and I know. We are made to tell the world that there are no outsiders. All are welcome: black, white, red, yellow, rich, poor, educated, not educated, male, female, gay, straight, all, all, all. We all belong to this family, this human family, God's family." Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu

Without diversity there is no life. Without safety there is no life. Without justice there is no safety, no diversity, and no life.

As a teacher of students with special needs I feel this is vitally important. Every child needs to be loved for who they are.
