I do agree that is is highly unfair for emoji creators to include more symbols related to mens' sports than those related to womens'.

Not having a softball emoji just shows who everyone thinks that the boys sports are better. I think that boys can play just as well as boys and vise versa!! They also need a volleyball emoji!
