Hi my name is Sofia Thornhill and I'd love to be a class of 2027 officer! I am a first generation college student and Biology major with minors in psychology and theater, working toward becoming a Physician Assistant. I the President of Alpha Lambda Delta, Vice President of First Gen, Treasurer of UMU Calliope, and member of UMU Players and Pre-PA Club. I work as a Microbiology Lab TA, Immunology and Microbiology tutor, and member of the costume shop team for the theater department. I am involved on campus through Concert Choir, Kanteori Choir, and in the theater department as a Stage Manager and leader of the Costume Team.

I'd love to be a class officer and work to make campus better for future students! I have loved my time here and Mount Union and have worked to create a lasting impact through the different organizations I have had the pleasure to be apart of. I take so much pride in being a future graduate of Mount Union and would love to be a voice for the other members of the class of 2027 as we begin the final year here at Mount.

Throughout my three years here at Mount I have grown so much, I have discovered my love of outreach in the community, leadership, and have even pushed my own boundaries to discover new passions. Being here at Mount Union has taught me to value differing perspectives and how to thrive in a community focused campus that caters to the needs of its students. I will forever be grateful for the many experiences, opportunities, and life-long friendships Mount has brought me, and I can't wait to work together to ensure the same opportunities for future classes of Mount Union Students.
