Should this development materialize some of the loveliest open acreage along CR 158 will become an eyesore to all neighbors, commuters, and the traffic impact will be dangerous. Elbert County is invested in moving forward due to development revenue that will be generated. Stay strong and sign now.

This proposed development will impact CR 158, Hilltop Road, CR 166, & CR 13. Elbert county cannot handle the amount of traffic that an additional 920 homes will create. We need to protect water resources - water aquifer's are not rising, they are being depleted. Keep large pop-up subdivisions in areas that have the proper resources, retail stores, commercial business and community services and FUNDS to support this type of development. Elbert county cannot support this proposed development in any way!

I was present for the 2009 hearing on this property and it was strongly opposed by the citizens. Eight years later, this property has not been developed and the property reverts to the original AG status. This development team has duped the County representatives and they are taking Tim Crafts word as truth. Wake up Elbert County officials you will be held accountable for bad decision making.

I strongly oppose this development! Water usage for this community will deplete wells in the surrounding area(s). Traffic congestion will add to the already over-burdened roads, & impact the travel time for everyone that uses Hilltop Rd, CR 13, CR 166 & Hwy 86. Wildlife will be affected, & more will be killed on county roads in this corridor. This development does not blend/work in the rural environment & will destroy the agricultural area & landscape.

If you are not too concerned about developers coming into your neighborhood and destroying what you have, I respect that. If you are against losing our county and becoming Highlands Ranch, then YOU DONT HAVE AN OPTION, NO EXCUSES. YOU HAVE TO BE THERE. It doesn't matter if you speak or not (but trust me, you will want to after you hear the crap). BE THERE, LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY DO TO YOUR COUNTY! DO IT NOW OR NOT AT ALL.

Opposed to high density clustered development in Eastern Douglas and all of Elbert County. The developers only care about making money while stripping land resources like our precious aquifers. CR 158/Hilltop and the road going west will be a never ending parking lot but our county officials just want to pass this off to the next generation. So sad the citizens voices have fallen on deaf ears. Money is so powerful.

The functional limit to growth on the front range has been met and passed. The natural resources (water) and infrastructure do not exist to maintain this PUD for an extended length of time. This is a pending disaster for the buyers, neighbors, and county.

In addition to violating the zoning, a densely populated residential build in this area threatens wildlife and water. It would also cause light and sound pollution, and require extensive road expansion to accommodate the significant traffic increase from so many more people. My family and I are very opposed this project.
