Subject: Strengthening Overall Security Measures for the Society – Specific Concerns of Tower 2 Residents

Respected Members of the Management Committee,

We, the residents of Tower 2, would like to place on record our serious concerns regarding the overall security arrangements of the society, in the interest of safety and well-being of all residents across Towers 1, 2, and 3.
In light of recent developments and reported incidents of child kidnapping and suspicious activities in and around our locality, we believe it is both timely and necessary to review and strengthen existing security protocols. Our observations and suggestions are detailed below for your kind consideration:

1. Unauthorised Movement / Trespassing Between Gates
There is frequent and uncontrolled movement of individuals from the front gate to the back gate and vice versa, without proper verification. This unrestricted access significantly increases security risk, especially for children, senior citizens, and women.
We strongly recommend stricter monitoring and regulated access between all entry and exit points of the society.

2. Adequacy of Security Personnel for Tower 2
The current number of security staff assigned to Tower 2 appears insufficient to ensure effective coverage of:
Entry and exit points
Common areas
Parking zones
Perimeter movement
An adequate and clearly defined deployment plan is essential to ensure complete and continuous security coverage of Tower 2 at all times.

3. Quality, Alertness, and Responsiveness of Security Staff
Beyond numbers, the quality of security personnel is equally critical. We have observed gaps in:
Alertness and vigilance
Proactive monitoring
Professional conduct and responsiveness
Periodic training, supervision, and performance review of security staff would help enhance their effectiveness and accountability.

4. Reception-Level Visitor & Vendor Diversion (A & B Wings)
Proper visitor and vendor management at the reception desk remains a challenge. Clear diversion and guidance to A Wing and B Wing is often missing, leading to confusion and unrestricted movement within Tower 2.
A structured protocol for:
Visitor entry
Vendor access
Delivery personnel movement
is essential to prevent misuse and enhance traceability.

5. Optimisation of Jio Gate App Usage
While the Jio Gate App is implemented, its usage requires better optimisation for:
Visitor approvals
Vendor entries
Coordination with security personnel
Proper training and disciplined use of the app by security staff will significantly improve coordination and monitoring.

6. Inter-Tower Coordination (Towers 1, 2 & 3)
Since all three towers form part of the same complex, security must be viewed as a shared responsibility. Enhanced cooperation and coordination between Towers 1, 2, and 3 will lead to:
Better accountability
Faster response
Uniform security standards across the society
A collaborative approach will strengthen overall safety for all residents.

Conclusion

Security is a collective responsibility, and proactive measures today can prevent serious incidents tomorrow. We request the Management Committee to review these points urgently, discuss feasible action steps, and communicate the proposed roadmap to residents.

We trust the Committee will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and take necessary steps in the best interest of the society.
Thanking you for your time and attention.

Warm regards,

Residents of Dheeraj Gaurav Heights - Tower 2
