We aim to list to students and their concerns about the environment and watch the growing student activism in this area, as well as my own personal values and interest on environmental issues. The society is aimed at everyone, which is why it is free to join, and will encompass people who are the green novice right through to those who are the green experts. The hope is that this society will work as a peer educational tool on environmental issues for all involved, as well as a way of students voicing there concerns on the environment through campaigns to raise awareness and make change. These campaigns will be on a local level here at the University, as well as a national level by joining up with the different national campaigns. The society when it first meets will decide how often they want to meet and when that will be, however it will be at least once a week in some form or another. The society will also actively support the Green Ladder Project which has just over a year to go now before it finishes, and will look to do small transformation projects in order to assist Green Ladder in its bigger transformation projects on campus. The GoGreen Society is for everyone and welcomes everyone.
