Soca needs to have its own place in the music scene. To many artists outside of soca has been silently eating off the plate of soca music or the soca sound. It's time to give it it's just do. In addition, soca has found it way into many mainstream platforms as Recently as Spike Lee's She's gotta have it television series. It's time for the world to know that soca isn't just Carnival music. It's time to show the world that soca music isn't just some alternative form of zumba music or dance music. Soca has more life than what is being currently seen. Now it's the time to show the world what soca really is.
