I would love for soca have it’s own genre it would make it easier for us soca lovers to find what songs we want and not feel less than when it’s under “world”.

Soca & Calypso has made it such a long way through the years. There's a piece of soca involved in main stream music such as shape of you by Ed Sheeran, Sorry by Justin Bieber, Run up by major lazer all these songs have a little soca feel to it. Machel Montano, one of the biggest soca stars since forever that's won soca monarch multiple times has won a soul train award, I feel that's a big deal and shows how far soca and calypso has gotten. Soca and Calypso is such an uplifting genre of music, it hits your soul and your bones and makes you wanna dance to the rhythm, it's listened to by many people from many different countries. Almost every region in this world has a carnival which most of the time is a soca event, soca is expanding and so should iTunes,
