I Jamaican and I listen to ALL kinda of Caribbean style music. I love my dancehall and reggae but yes Soca and calypso is different. I want to be able to find SOCA songs under soca and not “dancehall or reggae” that’s so narrow to our actual selections.

Soca is a specific genre of Caribbean music. Not to be confused with Reggae or Dancehall, as both are even two separate music genres! Pay attention to the beats of the music!
