This is our Caribbean music, known as Kaiso or Calypso modernised as Soca music.
This form of music is like no other and deserves to be know by it's name all over the world especially now that many countries are using this music to promote and host carnivals bringing to life, laughter, love and pure enjoyment.
So let's keep these sweet vibes of this music alive and call it by it's rightful names, Calypso or Soca. We love it bad.

Soca needs its own genre. We have too many talented Caribbean artistes who are not internationally recognized. Yet there is caribbean influence in Top 40 music (Rihanna, Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, etc.).
