Soca\Calypso/Kaiso is its own unique genre of music that's well loved and known throughout the world and should be recognized as such. This genre of music is not 'reggae'. It has deep historical and cultural roots. a favorite among millions worldwide, and a strong industry and customer base. Please support this effort by giving soca it's rightful standing in the menu of music offered to customers and for soca artists (past, present and future) to offer their beloved works.

I love soca music soo much, so I'd really love to see it as a genre. Soca music just gives you the vibe to stomp your feet, clap or have or even just wine and fling it up
