The assisted crossing is vital at this junction, even with all the warning signs, lights themselves and the lollipop lady in bright yellow some cars still barely stop in time. The school is increasing capacity and local roads are going to only her busier, this resource HAS to stay in place, the route to school will be massively less safe with it.
