The London Borough Of Bromley are on course to sell off the community centre located in Snowdown Close in Penge, SE20 7RU (Formerly the CAB Building).

We believe that Penge is an area with great social need, with a population made up of many different cultures, ages and people groups. At this time we feel that it's vital for community based assets, like this one, to remain open and available for community use.

Less than a year ago, a young man was shot and killed outside this very building as it lay dormant and unused. We want to see it filled with life, hope and programs that will benefit the whole of the community. Here is a link to an article, written by local Penge councillors with regards to the building earlier this year:

As mentioned in this article, there is a massive lack of youth activities in Penge and the surrounding area. Bromley have promised that they are serious about addressing real issues like this. They now have a chance to create lasting change, not just short term financial gain.

The London Borough of Bromley want to sell this property. We want to see it remain open in the community for the community.

If you agree, please sign our petition.
