Used to love bringing my children here. There is so much potential to nurture the next generation of olympians.

Without the ski village I don't think many of the people from my generation would have been given the opportunity to learn to ski, it is sad that without the ski village, many people young and old are being deprived of the opportunity to learn and practice experience skiing and snowboarding.

I leant to snowboard at the Ski Village. It would be nice to have it open again to start boarding again.

The slope brought me to Sheffield in 1991. Home to many fun times and a lifetime of skills learnt and enjoyed. The next generation is ready to rock, would love to see a slope again so he can have the opportunity for enjoyment I had the benefit of!

There is a need to move forward, the old Ski village was from a time before snow domes. We need to see what snowdomes cannot provide; and that people will come for. (a past university ski club chairman)

have great memories from my youth. would love too see my kids here in the future practicing their skiing. maybe they'll become future Olympians?

Learned here as a child and is well missed snow centre for the uk or multi sport centre inc mountain biking would be awesome and a massive addition to the renaissance of Sheffield as a whole

Travelling to Castleford to practice is all well and good.. but having somewhere back local has to be a major benefit to the city!
