I visited Parkwood Springs this afternoon and felt sad to see what is left of the ski village. I have been lucky enough to spend many winter seasons in the Alps snowboarding and would love to see the Sheffield Ski Village rebuilt so others can get a taste of snow sports and hopefully go on to The Alps like I did.

Such a waste visited here when I was very young, the skied in university competition here and won a few races. Just guttered what a slope.

I would love this to become a reality. I’m moving to Sheffield in sept 2022, with a PSIA alpine level 1. Teaching new skiers would be wonderful.

We are new to Sheffield and love the city. Creating a new snowsport centre here would be such a boost to levelling up in the northeast

Sheffield ski Village featured as part of my previous hobby and since this has gone I know longer snow board. Let's bring this back to the city
